What is something that the people you work with have to deal with that you want to fix?
Understanding the benefits for those who are able to access the COMIDA and the SBA 504 programs. The SBA 504 program is a great vehicle for businesses to purchase fixed assets with a low equity injection and access long term fixed rate financing on a significant part of the project. Additionally, we want businesses to know how we have taken our fee income and created new programs to assist businesses with growth.
What do you do at COMIDA?
I meet with businesses, assist in identifying needs, and facilitate access to incentives where appropriate.
What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
I have earned a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Fredonia, an MBA from St. Bonaventure University, and a certificate from The Economic Development Institute, accredited by the International Economic Development Council, from the University of Oklahoma.
What do you like about working at COMIDA?
Understanding a business’s project goals and assisting to make the goals a reality. Very often that involves creating a network with our partner agencies, lending institutions, and other professionals.
What’s your background?
I have a diverse banking background that includes audit, loan review, credit, and commercial lending. Additionally, as a Controller for a manufacturing company, I learned what it means to make payroll every week as well as how decisions not only affect the company but the families of those who work for the company.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my family and friends. Listening to my husband trio play.
